Chapter 3
Done and Gone

Riley hurried down to the hanger knowing only to well that Wolf would be in a fine mood by the time she got down there.

When she entered the hanger Wolf had his back turned to her, his arms folded , looking at his sad, broken fleet and shaking his head. Wolf’s Wolfen looked like it had taken the most damage, it was completely missing both of its thrusters and half of one of its wings was missing. Cozette, true to form, was freaking out, running around like a chicken with its head cut off, checking every inch of Panther to make sure he was “ok”.  Leon looked very shaken up, he kept twitching and with every twitch his scales changed color. Riley smirked and walk towards the team.
“Wow, there are definitely somethings i would have changed about that fight, but what cha gonna do against a gang like that” she said walking right up behind Wolf. He turned around with a snap and slapped Riley across the face, she stumbled back hitting her tool caddy. everyone fell silent. Riley scrambled to her feet.
“You shut the fuck up” Wolf said walking towards her.
“This is all your fault, those modifications you made to the Wolfens screwed them up” Riley began walking backwards
“What are you talking about” she said holding her hand to her face where Wolf had struck her.
“All i did was make them lighter, i didn’t change anything drastic , and if you would just let me alter the design you wouldn’t get you ass beat each time you went up against Fox and his crew” Wolf lunged forward grabbing Riley’s wrist twisting it hard. She could feel the tiny bones in her wrist begin to snap and Wolf forced her to the ground, She screamed in pain.
“Your a Traitor, I knew bringing you here wa a mistake, your too loyal to Fox and not to your own family” He through her to the ground letting go of her now lame wrist and began to walk away
“Your not my fucking family” she said fighting to her feet
“When dad died so did you, I cant believe it took me this long to see it, Howler had every right to leave you. You’ve messed up your own life here Wolf, you have no family left and that's your fault not mine and you can consider me gone.” She stood up cradeling her broken wrist and walked back to her room.

Late that night Riley had all her stuff packed up into the Wolfen. She took one more look around the hanger whipping a tear from her. She couldn’t believe what had happened between her and Wolf, she had never seen him act so violently and definitely not towards her. She shook her head and stepped up onto the side on the Wolfen.
“I’m sorry” Riley wheeled around , squinting in the dark at who had spoken. It was Cozette, she actually looked ok, she was wear a tight white T-shirt and a pair of low-waisted jeans.
“About what” Riley said getting off the Wolfen.
“About Wolf, he had no right to treat you that way, im sorry. I know you worked hard on those planes.”
“Thanks, I hope every thing goes well with you and Panther, Bye” Riley stepped back up onto her Jet.
“You Know Panther stood up for you tonight after you walked out. Him and Leon both got into it with Wolf, you still have friends here Riley” Riley stopped and set her foot back onto the ground.
“I know, but nothing can change what Wolf did”
“Where will you go? I mean Howler is missing and Wolf is your only other family, you can’t just go running off with out thinking” Cozette’s voice sounded shaky, like she was going to cry. Riley walked over to her and wrapped her arms around her neck, giving her a hug.
“I have Fox, I’m going to try and hunt him down, I’m sure he could find a place for me” Cozette seemed surprised by Riley’s hug but returned it with a hard squeeze.
“Just be careful” Cozetter said standing back and holding Riley at arms length to get a better look at her.
“and go to the hospital to get the wrist checked out, oh and to a store e for some cover-up for that black eye, ha ha” Riley smiled and let go of Cozette. She turned around and got into her Wolfen. Waving good bye she opened the hanger door and took off in search of The Great Fox.

Riley Flew all night until she reached Corneria. She was hoping that after the battle with Star Wolf the Star Fox crew would have to dock at the Corneria city air base for parts and medical supplies. She flew fast and hard through the smoggy city air till she could see the base in the distance. When she arrived she saw the Great Fox docked just as she had hoped. Riley put out her landing gear and flipped her thrusters to land. As Her Wolfen Touched ground she saw Fox emerge from the Cargo hatch on the Great Fox.
“Here goes nothin’” Riley said as she open her cockpit and jumped out.
